The GRN is committed to creating tools and programs for enhancing the public's knowledge about globalization. To that end, the centers have developed various public outreach mechanisms designed to place the latest thought and research in useful formats, including introductory books series, curriculum modules, case studies, teaching guides, and on-line resources to help people understand what globalization means and what its impacts are on day-to-day life.

Each member center also reaches out to university and local communities through a variety of events about current issues of globalization. Announcements of upcoming events and proceedings of past conferences and symposia can be found on the site of each member institution.
